Believe...I Am!

Title: “Believe…I Am”

Original oil painting, 36”x 48” clay board panel, was inspired from a spiritual dream.

The dream started with the most intense light imaginable bursting through a cement slab with boulders flying in all directions. The sound was deafening! At the center of this intense light was a God-like image. I heard a loud roar “Believe”!

At that moment I realized God had appeared to me in this dream. It disappeared quickly and a silhouette of an angel appeared and told me to read these scriptures.

Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so you can endure it.” This suggests that the dream might be communicating a message of assurance. The dream could be telling you that no matter what the struggles or challenges you are facing (represented by the cement slab, the loud roar, the immense light), there is always a way out provided by divine intervention. The presence of God and the angel with the scripture readings may be reinforcing the idea that you’re not alone and that there’s a higher plan at work, one that is always present to guide and protect you.

Ephesians 6:16 “In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. This verse is part of the “Armor of God” passage, where the Apostle Paul encourages believers to put on a spiritual armor to with stand spiritual battles. The shield of faith represents trust in God and His protection.
